We are suckers for accessories, to be honest. We really enjoy all of the extras accessible to spice up your pastime. However, with this one, we propose you follow the KISS principle (Keep It Simple Stupid). You don’t need much to enhance the flat top experience here. Blackstone has a basic 5-piece kit that’s ideal for beginners like yourself. These are the things you’ll use the most often.

We ended up purchasing a few melting domes and specialized cleaning materials as a result of this. We almost purchased a costly cover, but you’ll discover that the 5-piece kit addresses nearly every requirement associated with cooking on this equipment. The scraper and spatulas are fantastic, and they work wonderfully. Every time we turn on the stove, we fill the squeeze bottles with oil.

  2. In a large mixing dish, combine your favourite pancake mix. We prefer to make our own batter, but there’s nothing wrong with utilizing a premix with extra protein.

  3. In a separate mixing bowl, whisk eggs with a spoonful of yoghurt, cream cheese, or cottage cheese before pouring the mixture onto the griddle and scrambling it.

  4. Remove from the heat and add cooked sausage, crumbled bacon, onions, and cheddar cheese to the eggs in a mixing bowl. Stir the ingredients together with a whisk or wooden spoon until smooth. Pour 1/4 to 1/3 cupfuls of the mixture over each griddle.

  5. Cook until the edges of the batter start to bubble, then flip and cook for 2 minutes until done. Serve with a knob of butter.

Gorgeous Griddle Crepes

  1. Place the following in a blender and whirl until smooth:

  • 4 eggs

  • 2 1/4 cups of milk

  • 2 cups of flour

  • 1 tablespoon (TBSP) of sugar

  • 1/3 cup melted butter

  • A dash of salt

  • Pour the mixture onto a medium-hot griddle and fan it out with the backside of a spoon.

  • When the edges turn golden, flip

  • Cook for about one minute, then remove

Succulent Smoked Salmon Fillet

The salmon is moistened with smoke from hickory chips, which adds to the tenderness. This is how to smoke on a griddle if you didn’t know.

  1. Set the griddle to medium-high and one side to medium-low or low, depending on your preference.

  2. In a small metal bowl, add a handful of hickory chips or pellets and set them on the hottest side. Cover and smoke for about an hour.

  3. Rub the salmon fillet with pressed garlic and lemon juice before placing it, skin side down, on the cooler side of the griddle. Cover the grill.
